Banyard Construction were awarded this private residential project following a competitive tender process. Prior to our involvement the project had begun life as a refurbishment project however it became clear to our clients that due to the amount of repair work required a planning permitted demolish and new build would be financially more beneficial.
The property enjoys stunning views over Parkstone Bay so glazing was maximised to both the main living and bedroom spaces. A passenger lift was installed to future proof the upper floors of the property. Both photovoltaic panels and an air source heat pump were installed to achieve the 10% renewable targets set by Poole and Bournemouth Council.
Our clients were very keen to work within a prescribed budget for the project, therefore our experienced team worked closely with them to ensure that all elements were cost checked with the various options and construction methods considered prior to inclusion.
