This contract was won following competitive tendering process after an initial introduction by the architect.
The project involved the total removal of the existing bungalow roof whilst preserving the existing ceiling joists and ceilings under a canopy scaffold to protect the works from the elements. New 1st floor walling, floor joists and roof to provide a two storey dwelling with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Following discussions with the client it was decided that the roof would be tiled and the external walls finished using spar marble dashed render in order that the project suited the traditional style to its surrounding property’s.
The entire ground floor was refurbished including plumbing and electrical installations.
