Located in the old town Poole area a stone’s throw from the picturesque Poole Quay steeped in maritime history. Constructed for a private client the house occupies an underused brownfield site to the rear of the High Street.
This challenging and piled site was of particular interest of the Town Planners who were keen to ensure that the heritage of the old town was preserved whilst bringing a new quirky edge to this upcoming area. A large open plan living, dining, kitchen room occupies the ground floor with three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms to the first floor, the property also boasts a courtyard garden paved with reclaimed flagstones from the former building. The striking walling was constructed from a red brick in garden wall bond with a natural clay plain tile roof covering. Stunning Oak windows, doors and cladding from a quality local joinery manufacturer complete the façade.
The project was completed in 2014 and delivered to programme to very satisfied clients.
